Join our Sunday School family this summer and participate in the Radical Acts project!
Sponsored by The First Church of Christ, Scientist, Radical Acts is an ecumenical community gathering online for three months (and at Seventeenth Church’s Sunday School) to follow Jesus’ toughest teachings. People from all faith traditions, or no faith at all, are invited to join the conversation.
The following Radical Acts are what we’re focusing on this summer. Click on any of them to learn more and connect with others online who are practicing it:
- BE childlike.
- BEFRIEND lepers, prostitutes, “undesirables.”
- CAST the beam out of your own eye.
- CHALLENGE Pharisees.
- DO GOOD to people who hate you.
- FEED the hungry, clothe the naked, shelter strangers, visit prisoners.
- FORGIVE 70 x 7.
- HEAL the sick, cast out evil, raise the dead.
- LIVE more abundantly.
- LOSE your life to find it.
- LOVE your neighbor as yourself.
- MULTIPLY loaves and fishes.
- SEEK the kingdom first — don’t worry about food/drink/clothing.
