Open House Chicago a Rousing Success

1--ohc_homepage_freeThe church was packed this last weekend with visitors enjoying their tour of Seventeenth Church as part of Open House Chicago.  More than 4,300 people stopped by and saw the worship sanctuary, learned some architectural tidbits about the building and its architect Harry Weese, as well as heard a bit of organ music, learned of the Christian Science Reading Room on the lobby level, and had an opportunity to ask questions about Christian Science if they were curious.

Thanks to all those who helped give tours and support the event.

Here’s a few pictures of the event:

  1. Thanks so much for being a welcoming community and sharing all that you have to share. Thanks also for the effort to share the photos and story that goes with it. It’s encouraging to see it, even if from a bit of a suburban distance.
