November 15, 2020 Illinois Committee on Publication Talk

Dear fellow Christian Scientists,

It’s church talk time again! As Christian Science Committee on Publication for Illinois, I invite you to attend one of our talks this year, “I will follow and rejoice” (words from the poem “Feed My Sheep” by Mary Baker Eddy), either in person or on Zoom. In preparation for our time together, please read Mary Baker Eddy’s article “The Way” in Miscellaneous Writings 1883-1896 (pp. 355-359); it is the basis for this year’s church talk.

Attached is an invitation to our events with locations, dates, and times. You must register for the church talks this year — whether you attend in person or on Zoom. Click here to access a Google Form to register for the talk you would like to attend.

LAST TALK:
Sunday, Nov. 15 at 3:00 p.m.
via Zoom

This email with invitation and registration form link can be forwarded to other Christian Scientists in Illinois who may not have received it. If you or someone who would like to attend is not able to access the form online, please call 847-841-1711. If you are serving as Clerk for your church or society, please help us share this information with your members by forwarding this email and with desk announcements.

If you attend a talk in person, masks and social distancing will be required in accordance with state and local guidelines. During these unusual times, attendance may be capped to respect the seating capacity preferences of individual churches.

I look forward to hearing back from you soon.

As always with love and respect,

Tim Mitchinson
